Marvel Studios has unveiled a first look image from the upcoming Disney+ series WandaVision during its panel at Brazil’s Comic Con Experience today featuring Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff and Paul Bettany’s Vision, with the two Avengers channelling 1950s American sitcoms. Check it out here…
The image is reminiscent of the concept art revealed during the D23 Expo, and doubles down on the comments from its two leads that WandaVision will start out as a classic sitcom before “snowballing into an epic Marvel movie.
Although plot details are yet to be revealed, it’s expected that WandaVision will take inspiration from comic book writer Tom King’s Vision series, which saw the character attempting to create an android family for himself in a 1950s-style suburban setting. And given Vision’s fate in Avengers: Infinity War, it seems a safe bet that Wanda’s reality has been warped somehow…

WandaVision is set to premiere on Disney+ in 2021, and features a cast that includes Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Paul Bettany (Vision), Kat Dennings (Darcy Lewis), Randall Park (Agent Jimmy Woo), Teyonah Parris (Empire) as an adult Monica Rambeau and Kathryn Hahn (Bad Moms) as a “nosy neighbour.”
