First look at It’s Sophia Lillis in Gretel & Hansel

Orion Pictures has revealed the first image from director Osgood Perkins’ (I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House, The Blackcoat’s Daughter) dark reimagining of the classic fairytale Gretel & Hansel featuring It star Sophia Lillis; take a look here…

A long time ago in a distant fairytale countryside, a young girl (Sophia Lillis, It) leads her little brother (Sammy Leakey) into a dark wood in desperate search of food and work, only to stumble upon a nexus of terrifying evil.

Gretel & Hansel is set for release on January 31st and features a cast that also includes Sammy Leakey, Charles Babalola, Alice Krige, and Jessica De Gouw.
