First person horror Apparition now on Steam Early Access

October 31, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Apparition, Fat Dog Games’ first person horror title that sees players become a paranormal detective looking to find evidence of the supernatural is now available on Steam Early Access.  Developed by solo studio MrCiastku, Apparition will have players use Ouija boards and other equipment to hunt down the paranormal.

In Apparition, would be paranormal investigators will need to explore their surroundings for supplies and evidence of the supernatural nasties haunting the environment.  The more evidence collected will reward with more points that can be used to unlock new equipment, however, these spooks and spectres are far from friendly and will attack on sight.  Staying longer in the haunted locale will provide more points but also increase the risk of attracting the attention of the restless spirits.

Apparition features:

  • A tense horror atmosphere.
  • Uncover clues and evidence of ghosts and speak to them through the Ouija board.
  • Record evidence of a variety of ghost, ghouls, demons and other apparitions.
  • Earn points by capturing evidence of the paranormal, but escape before they find you to keep them.
  • Upgrade equipment and gear to explore further and uncover more mysteries.
  • Explore the environment to find resources and craft supplies.
