HBO has released a teaser for Camping, the upcoming comedy from the Girls duo Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner. The series stars Jennifer Garner and David Tennant as Kathryn and Walt, an unhappily married couple whose meticulously planned trip with friends to celebrate Walt’s 45th birthday doesn’t go quite as planned; watch the trailer here…
“To celebrate her husband Walt’s 44th birthday, the obsessively organized and aggressively controlling Kathryn gathers together her meek sister, her holier-than-thou ex-best friend, and a free-spirited tagalong — and what was supposed to be a delightful, back-to-nature camping trip quickly becomes a weekend of tested marriages and woman-on-woman crime that won’t soon be forgotten.”
Camping is set to premiere on October 14th on HBO and features a cast that also includes Juliette Lewis (Secrets and Lies), Janicza Bravo (Love), Arturo Del Puerto (Fear the Walking Dead), Brett Gelman (Stranger Things), Ione Skye (Arrested Development) and Bridget Everett (Patti Cake$).
