20th Century Fox has debuted the first trailer for the biographical drama Ford v Ferrari (Le Mans ’66 in the UK). Directed by James Mangold, the film stars Matt Damon as American car designer Carroll Shelby and Christian Bale as British racer Ken Miles who were tasked by Henry Ford II (Tracy Letts) to build an entirely new car to finally defeat Ferrari at the 1966 Le Mans World Championship; watch it here…
Academy Award®-winners Matt Damon and Christian Bale star in FORD v FERRARI, the remarkable true story of the visionary American car designer Carroll Shelby (Damon) and the fearless British driver Ken Miles (Bale), who together battled corporate interference, the laws of physics, and their own personal demons to build a revolutionary race car for Ford Motor Company and take on the dominating race cars of Enzo Ferrari at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France in 1966.
Ford v Ferrari is set for release on November 8th in the UK and on November 15th in the US and also stars Caitriona Balfe (Outlander), Tracy Letts (Lady Bird), Josh Lucas (Sweet Home Alabama), Jon Bernthal (The Punisher), Noah Jupe (A Quiet Place), Remo Girone (Live By Night), Ray McKinnon (Sons of Anarchy).
