First trailer, poster and images for David Ayer’s The Tax Collector starring Shia LaBeouf

RLJE Films has debuted the first trailer, poster and images for writer-director David Ayer’s upcoming crime thriller The Tax Collector which stars Ayer’s Fury star Shia LaBeouf as a man who finds himself fighting to protect his family when the rival of his crime lord boss returns to L.A., upending his business. Joining LaBeouf in the cast are Bobby Soto, Cinthya Carmona, and George Lopez; take a look here…

David (Bobby Soto) and Creeper (Shia LaBeouf), are “tax collectors” for the crime lord Wizard, collecting his cut from the profits of local gangs’ illicit dealings. But when Wizard’s old rival returns to Los Angeles from Mexico, the business is upended, and David finds himself desperate to protect what matters more to him than anything else: his family.

The Tax Collector is set for release on August 7th.
