It’s time to take the Captain’s chair as Misc Games announce the release of Fishing: North Atlantic on Steam for PC. Journey into the majestic waters off Nova Scotia and reel in massive Swordfish and Tuna, haul crabs and lobsters and use a range of modern navigation equipment to sale across realistic sea conditions.
Players are able to choose from one of 25 different fishing vessels and use commercial fishing techniques such as harpooning and deep-line-buoy fishing to catch a variety of fish that use an advanced fish-AI that makes them elusive and difficult to track, just like in real life. There’s a number of different navigation technologies to use, including GPS and sonar, to help follow the school’s movements.
The game features realistic weather conditions and atmospheric effects and understanding these, as well as water temperature and navigating dynamic fish habitats will help would-be captains meet their quotas.
“This is a big and exciting day for Misc Games, and we are very proud of the product that we are releasing in Fishing: North Atlantic,” said Yasemin Hamurcu from Misc Games. “We’ve built upon the successes from our first title Fishing: Barents Sea, which acquired quite a cult following and have implemented suggestions from the community to make this sequel the most realistic fishing simulator available.”
Fishing: North Atlantic is available on Steam now with a limited time 10% launch discount.
