With production underway on the second season of Marvel’s Agent Carter, Entertainment Weekly has revealed four cast additions to ABC series.
Wynn Everett (The Newsroom) is set to play Whitney Frost, a.k.a. Madame Masque, with Currie Graham (Raising the Bar) as Frost’s husband Calvin Chadwick, Lotte Verbeek (Outlander) as Edwin Jarvis’ wife Ana, and Reggie Austin (Devious Maids) as Jason Wilkes, a quirky and charismatic scientist and potential new love interest for Hayley Atwell’s Peggy.
“Whitney Frost is a character with a storied history in the Marvel comics, and we’re excited to get the opportunity to introduce her to fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe,” states executive producers Tara Butters, Michele Fazekas, and Chris Dingess. “Inspired by Hollywood icons like Hedy Lamarr and Lauren Bacall, we knew we needed an actor who was classically glamorous and fiercely intelligent. Wynn is both, and we’re thrilled to watch her bring this formidable character to life.”
Meanwhile, it has also been confirmed that Dominic Cooper (Howard Stark) and Bridget Regan (Dottie Underwood) will return alongside Atwell, James D’Arcy, Chad Michael Murray and Enver Gjokaj.
Season two of Agent Carter will air during the midseason break of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season three.
