The life of comic book legend Stan Lee is set for the big screen treatment, but this is not going to be any ordinary biopic.
The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that 20th Century Fox has acquired Lee’s life rights, and has tapped producers Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey (Twilight, The Maze Runner) to develop a 1970s-set action adventure movie, which is described as being similar in tone to Kingsman: The Secret Service and Roger Moore’s 007, with Lee as the main character.
Specific plot details are being kept under wraps, and at present the project is yet to secure a writer, so it is possible the studio’s plans could change. We’ll keep you posted…
