Back in August it was revealed that Fox was looking to revive Prison Break for a limited series, and now the network has made it official, with both Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell on board as brothers Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows.
The limited series will once again be written and showrun by creator Paul T. Schuering, who will also produce with Neal Moritz, Marty Adelstein and Dawn Olmstead. As yet, Fox hasn’t revealed how many episodes will make up the new season.
The news coincides with Fox announcing the possible return of another of its past glories, with the network placing a pilot order for the 24 spinoff 24: Legacy. It also has The X-Files returning this month.
