Freddie Prinze Jr. and David Fynn join comedy pilot I Mom So Hard

February 17, 2018 by Amie Cranswick

According to Deadline, CBS has tapped Freddie Prinze Jr. (Star Wars Rebels) and David Fynn (Undateable) to star opposite Kristin Hensley (Dads in Parks) and Jen Smedley (Literally So Busy) in the multi-camera comedy pilot I Mom So Hard.

The potential series sees Hensley and Smedley as two moms who show how their friendship gets them through being wives and mothers. Prinze Jr will play Hale, Jen’s (Smedley) husband, a work-from-home former athlete with a dry sense of humour, while Fynn is hard-working, affable school teacher and fun father Brian, who is dvoted to his wife Kristin (Hensley).

Based upon the web series #IMomSoHard created by Hensley and Smedley, the pilot is being executive produced by Michelle Nader (2 Broke Girls) and Rob Thomas (Veronica Mars), with Don Scardino (The Incredible Burt Wonderstone) directing.
