Ghostbusters director Paul Feig is set to get back behind the camera to direct Girls Code, a new female-led comedy which has received a pilot order from Freeform.
The potential series has been penned by Kim Rosenstock (New Girl), and follows “the partnership between a brazen, self-centered tech CEO and a community-building social entrepreneur who must overcome their many issues with each other in order to co-run a groundbreaking, all-female tech incubator.”
Feig does have plenty of small screen experience, having created Freaks and Geeks and directed episodes of the likes of Arrested Development, 30 Rock, Mad Men, Weeds, Parks and Recreation, Nurse Jackie, The Office and most recently The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale. He is also in post-production on his next film Starter, which stars Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick.
