FX has announced premiere dates for the upcoming eighth season of American Horror Story as well as the long-gestating Sons of Anarchy spinoff Mayans MC.
Season eight of American Horror Story – confirmed as a crossover between season one’s Murder House and season 3’s Coven – is set to premiere on Wednesday, September 12th.
The new season, which is without a title at present, will feature returning stars Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts and Billie Lourd, while Joan Collins is a new addition to the cast.
Before the premiere of AHS, fans of Kurt Sutter’s Sons of Anarchy have Mayans MC to look forward to, with the spinoff set to premiere on September 4th.
Mayans MC takes place in a post-Jax teller world and follows Ezekiel “EZ” Reyes, a prospect in the Mayan MC charter on the California/Mexico border. The gifted son of a proud Latino family, whose American dream was snuffed out by cartel violence, EZ’s need for vengeance drives him toward a life he never intended and can never escape.
Featuring in the cast are JD Pardo, Edward James Olmos, Sarah Bolger, Clayton Cardenas, Richard Cabral, Michael Irby, Raoul Trujillo, Antonio Jaramillo and Carla Baratta.
