Game of Thrones star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is set to make his way over to The Simpsons for a guest appearance.
Many a famous face has visited the town of Springfield over the years, from actors like Mark Hamill to comedian Ricky Gervais.
Now one of the stars of TV’s biggest series is to get his turn, with Jaime Lannister himself (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) nabbing a guest role.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, The Simpsons’ executive producer Matt Selman said Coster-Waldau’s episode will be titled ‘The Serfsons’ and is “a love letter to the fantasy genre of books and movies and TV shows.”
Selman has teased that Coster-Waldau’s character is “not unlike Jaime” and will have “a surprising and sexy connection to one of the main characters.”
The ‘Serfsons’ episode will air in the fall.
This isn’t the first time The Simpsons has gotten into bed with Game of Thrones or its actors, however, as they have previously spoofed the show’s opening credits and Carice van Houten has also made an appearance.
