It looks like the cast of Game of Thrones is set for bumper pay rises to return for a seventh – and potentially eighth – season, although you may want to stop reading now if you don’t want to know which actors are going to be around for the latter seasons…
So, according to Deadline, Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister), Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) are all set to receive north of $500,000 for season seven, giving them a bump from the $300,000 per episode that they received for season six.
The report also goes on to state that this doesn’t guarantee that all five of those characters will survive until the series finale, as the final episodes of the show are yet to be written.
The season six finale of Game of Thrones is set to air this Sunday, and you can watch a promo for ‘The Winds of Winter’ here, and we also have a batch of images from the episode here.
