Thanks to Did You Know Gaming, we’ve got a look at some gameplay footage from THQ’s cancelled video game tie-in to Joss Whedon’s Avengers movie, which was in development between 2010 and 2011 before the publisher went bankrupt.
The first-person game would have offered four playable characters in Iron Man, Captain America, The Hulk and Thor, with Black Widow and Hakweye also available to unlock. It was written by acclaimed comic book writer Brian Michael Bendis, and would have provided a loose adaptation of the Secret Invasion storyline with Earth’s Mightiest Heroes going up against the Skrulls.
