A new thriller titled The Bayou starring Gary Oldman (Darkest Hour), Joey King (Wish Upon) and Dylan O’Brien (Maze Runner: The Death Cure) is set to be made later this summer, according to Deadline.
The Bayou will see O’Brien playing the protégé of a hitman (Oldman) who becomes determined to save a teenaged girl (King) from a human-trafficking ring.

The Bayou was written by W. Peter Iliff (Point Break, Patriot Games) with Gary Fleder (Runaway Jury) in talks to direct the film. The film is expected to shoot in New Orleans in June.
