Bad news for any Girl Meets World fans hoping that showrunner Michael Jacobs may have some success finding a new home for a fourth season, as he has put out a tweet from the official writers’ Twitter account that he has been unable to secure a pickup.
“I wasn’t able to find a new venue for the show,” tweeted Jacobs. “I’m sorry. We brought our best and hope we made you think and feel. Until next time. Thanks.”
The Boy Meets World sequel series was axed by The Disney Channel ahead of its season three finale back in January, although Jacobs had indicated that it may not have been the end of the road for Riley Matthews and company, as hoping to attract interest from other outlets.
