“No one else in the world is doing this level of practical filmmaking” claims Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning director Christopher McQuarrie, who’s introducing a behind-the-scenes look at one of the film’s many spectacular stunts.
The train sequence, which makes up the breath-taking finale of the blockbuster sequel, was filmed on top of a carriage that was travelling at 60mph, moving through a real valley, as Tom Cruise, Esai Morales, and Hayley Atwell executed the choreographed action on-board, before being totalled in an abandoned English quarry.
