Two weeks out from its premiere on the streaming service, Netflix has shared a new red band trailer for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, the new anime series from CD PROJEKT RED and set in the world of the Cyberpunk 2077 videogame.
Check out the NSFW trailer below, along with some promotional images and a character poster spotlighting Lucy, described as “a skilled netrunner and an important member of Maine’s mercenary crew. Despite her highly sought-after technical abilities, she wants nothing more than to escape Night City and her dangerous past.”
The series tells a standalone, 10-episode story about a street kid trying to survive in Night City — a technology and body modification-obsessed city of the future. Having everything to lose, he stays alive by becoming an edgerunner — a mercenary outlaw also known as a cyberpunk.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is set to premiere on Netflix on September 13th.
