ABC has announced that its upcoming Grey’s Anatomy spinoff based around a team of Seattle firefighters is going by the title of Station 19.
The series, which has been penned by Grey’s Anatomy co-showrunner Stacy McKee, who executive produces with Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers, is centred around a Seattle firehouse and follows the brave men and women who risk their lives and their hearts both in the line of duty and off the clock.
The ten-episode drama sees Grey’s Anatomy star Jason George (Dr. Ben Warren) starring alongside Jaina Lee Ortiz (Rosewood), Danielle Savre (Too Close To Home), Okieriete Onaodowan (Hamilton), Barrett Doss (Iron Fist), Grey Damon (Friday Night Lights), Alberto Frezza (Dead of Summer) and Miguel Sandoval (Medium).
Station 19 is the second spinoff to Grey’s Anatomy after Private Practice, and is set to get underway with a two-hour premiere on Thursday, March 22nd.
