Variety is reporting that the upcoming Marvel sequel Ant-Man and the Wasp has found its first new cast addition, with Hannah John-Kamen (Game of Thrones, Killjoys) signing for an as-yet-unrevealed role in the film.
The British actress joins the returning Paul Rudd (Scott Lang), Evangeline Lilly (Hope Van Dyne), Michael Douglas (Hank Pym), Michael Pena (Luis), David Dastmalchian (Kurt) and T.I. (Dave). Ant-Man director Peyton Reed also returns to direct the film, from a script by Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari.
The film becomes the latest high-profile project for John-Kamen, who has recently completed work on the Tomb Raider reboot and also stars in a lead role in Steven Spielberg’s Ready Player One.
Ant-Man and the Wasp is set for release in the UK on June 29th, 2018, and in the US on July 6th, 2018.
