Director David Slade has recently revealed that he is contributing to season four of Black Mirror. If you don’t know the man by name, then you surely know him by his work: he directed the movie-adaptation of 30 Days of Night several years back, the indie-gem Hard Candy, as well as episodes of (the incredible) Hannibal, and American Gods. He teased the collaboration via Twitter:

Black Mirror originated on Channel 4 in the UK before finding a permanent home on Netflix. The latest Season premiered to strong reviews (the incredible episode San Junipero in particular), and the series has been rightfully dubbed the modern Twilight Zone.
If you have never heard of the series, here is a more official description: “Black Mirror is a British science fiction television anthology series created by Charlie Brooker and centred around dark and satirical themes that examine modern society, particularly with regard to the unanticipated consequences of new technologies.”
