Harrison Ford is set to reteam with his Star Wars director J.J. Abrams for a new sci-fi movie. Per DanielRPK, the star will join Jenna Ortega and Glen Powell in the still-untitled project, which Abrams has written and is producing and directing through his Bad Robot production company.
Little is known about the plot, but the rumours suggest is set to involve a “young married couple struggling to survive against a supernatural entity.” There are also rumors that it will have the vibe of The Last Starfighter. As with most J.J. Abrams’ work, we’ll keep guessing until the last minute.
This untitled movie is Abrams’ first film since Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, in which Ford had a small cameo after his lead role in 2015’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Harrison Ford will next appear as President Ross/Red Hulk in Captain America: Brave New World, set for release in 2025. The actor is filming the second season of 1923 and will drop the second season of Shrinking sometime soon.
