Has the Han Solo Star Wars movie title been revealed via a T-shirt?

June 15, 2017 by Samuel Brace

A Lucasfilm T-shirt may have revealed the title of the Han Solo Star Wars Anthology film.

There is always speculation and anticipation when it comes to a franchise such as Star Wars, and that hasn’t been any different regarding the Han Solo Anthology movie.

We have yet to be given an official title for the film, but now we might have our answer, coming our way via a photo of a crew member’s official t-shirt, which Making Star Wars managed to get hold of.

The T-shirt simply names the film as ‘Solo’, with ‘We shot first’ on the back. But could this be the actual name of the film?

Movies do often have different titles before the official announcement is made, so it is possible that Solo is just a placeholder, and not the actual title. But it would certainly be fitting.

Of course, we will have to wait a little longer to find out for sure, and with word that we might have news of the next Anthology movie after Solo very soon, these are indeed exciting times for Star Wars fans.

Oh, and Star Wars: The Last Jedi is only six months away, so we shouldn’t forget about that.

Han Solo is being directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (The LEGO Movie) and stars Alden Ehrenreich (Hail, Caesar!) as the famous smuggler, Donald Glover (Atlanta) as Lando Calrissian, Woody Harrelson (War for the Planet of the Apes) as Beckett (Solo’s mentor), Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca and Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag) as a droid. Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones), Thandie Newton (Westworld), Ian Kenny (Sing Street) and Michael K. Williams (The Night Of) have been cast in unrevealed roles. It is set for release on May 25th, 2018.
