HBO has announced its list of directors for season six of Game of Thrones, with three veterans of the epic fantasy set to return alongside two newcomers to the series.
The first two episodes will be directed by Jeremy Podeswa, who helmed the season five episodes ‘Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken’ and ‘Kill the Boy’, with Mark Mylod (‘High Sparrow’, ‘Sons of the Harpy’) tackling episodes 7 and 8 and Miguel Sapochnik (‘The Gift’, ‘Hardhome’) directing episodes 9 and 10.
The third and fourth episodes are set to be directed by Daniel Sackheim (The X-Files, House), with episodes 6 and 7 directed by another newcomer, Jack bender (Lost, Under the Dome).
