If you’re yet to catch Damon Lindelof’s Watchmen, or feel it may be a good time to revisit the acclaimed series, then HBO has announced it will be offering all nine episodes for free this coming weekend as an extension of the network’s content offering highlighting Black experiences, voices and storytellers.
A sequel to the iconic graphic novel from Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, Watchmen takes place in an alternate history where masked vigilantes are treated as outlaws.
The series follows Angela Abar (Regina King), a masked detective in The Tulsa Police Force, who find themselves under threat from the white supremacist group the Seventh Kavalry. Also featuring in the cast are Tim Blake Nelson, Jeremy Irons, Jean Smart, Hong Chau, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Louis Gossett Jr. and Don Johnson.

Watchmen will be able to watch via HBO.com and Free on Demand in the United States between Friday June 19th through to Sunday June 21st, while a marathon of the series will air on HBO and HBO Latino on Friday June 19th beginning 1pm ET.
