Henry Cavill, who plays the monster hunter Geralt of Rivia in Netflix’s The Witcher, has confirmed pre-production for the second season is set to start shortly.
Cavill took to Instagram to share the news of the second season and thanked the fans for the warm and positive reactions to the first season of the fantasy show.

The Witcher showrunner Lauren Hissrich has already teased a major plot thread for the upcoming second season which will delve more into the scenario that both witchers and monsters are going extinct and how this will affect Geralt personally.
