Mission: Impossible – Fallout star Henry Cavill says that he really wishes he could return for the next installment.
The Mission: Impossible franchise seems to go from strength to strength with the next two entries in the Tom Cruise-led series already in development.
The last entry was Fallout co-starring Henry Cavill. Cavill’s character didn’t survive the events of the film but the actor wishes he could somehow be a part of the next movie.
Speaking to the Empire Podcast, the actor was asked if hearing about Cruise’s latest insane stunts for the seventh film made him miss the franchise:
“I was extremely jealous. Extremely jealous. I want to be there, I want to be parachuting off a motorbike into a canyon. Why can’t I be there?” After going on to heap praise on Cruise and the franchise as a whole, he added: “I miss it terribly.”

It sounds Cavill and Cruise are cut from a similar cloth when it comes to their love for crazy stunts. Hopefully, Cavill can fill that urge in another project soon.

Featuring in the cast are returning seriesstars Tom Cruise, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames and Henry Czerny, along with new additions Esai Morales (Titans), Hayley Atwell (Avengers: Endgame), Pom Klementieff (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2), and Shea Whigham (Boardwalk Empire).
