LLC Blini Games and 1C Entertainment has announced they will be bringing Lovecraftian horror to PC, Mac and Linux on 17th May with Lovecraft’s Untold Stories 2. Inspired by the H. P. Lovecraft mythology, this action RPG continues the story of the first game but this time with a brand-new dark comic graphic style. The fight against the Unknown is still ongoing but in Lovecraft’s Untold Stories 2 the challenge is even greater than before as new tough nightmarish creatures await. Reunite with old acquaintances and meet new faces as you explore procedurally generated locations and defend yourselves against the dozens of different monstrosities and denizens from other dimensions, not to mention epic bosses. The challenge may be greater but find new blueprints and craft consumables and equipment to take down these evil creatures.
There are six different characters to play as, both old and new, the Detective, Witch and Professor make their return while they are joined by the Medium, the Veteran and the Alienist. Each character will require their own unique playstyle in the fight to take down the Old Ones.
Lovecraft’s Untold Stories 2 features:
- Dozens of enemies and monsters from the Cthulhu Mythos such as demonic beings from the Void, ferocious swamp beasts, asylum lunatics and city thugs.
- Six playable characters, each with their own weapons, equipment and skills. Switch between them freely to choose the right man (or woman) for the job.
- Hundreds of different weapons and clothing items to find or even craft, Explore every room and search every container as there may just be valuable loot.
- Earn extra equipment or resources in a good variety of side quests.
- Roguelike elements include randomly generated levels and loot drops make the game advantageous to those not getting what they want in the loot.
- Charms, amulets and sacred relics will grant strange and wonderful abilities.
