After unveiling Rocket and Cosmo earlier this month, Sideshow has now shared a batch of promotional images for Hot Toys’ sixth scale Star-Lord figure which is inspired by the likeness of Chris Pratt as Peter Quill in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. The Marvel collectible is available to pre-order now, priced at $265; check out the promotional images here…
Inspired by Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3, Sideshow and Hot Toys are excited to reveal the Star-Lord Sixth Scale Collectible Figure, the captain of the Guardians who has a passionate love for his family and friends, ready to take fans on this final space tour!
The screen-accurate Star-Lord figure is crafted based on Star-Lord portrayed by Chris Pratt, includes a newly developed head sculpt that captures his iconic expression, and comes with separate rolling eyeballs for adjustable eye sight. The highly-poseable figure shows attention to details on the navy blue team outfit with the Guardians emblem on the chest, also on weapons, and accessories such as a pair of blasters and shooting effects, a portable music player for an awesome mix, and a figure display base.
“In Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 our beloved band of misfits are settling into life on Knowhere. But it isn’t long before their lives are upended by the echoes of Rocket’s turbulent past. Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him on a dangerous mission to save Rocket’s life – a mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.”
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 brings the galactic gang back together one last time and sees the return of Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Dave Bautista (Drax the Destroyer), Bradley Cooper (Rocket Raccoon), Vin Diesel (Groot), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Pom Klementieff (Mantis), Sean Gunn (Kraglin), Sylvester Stallone (Stakar Ogord), Elizabeth Debecki (Ayesha), Michael Rosenbaum (Martinex), Will Poulter (Adam Warlock), Chukwudi Iwuji (The High Evolutionary), Maria Bakalova (Cosmo the Spacedog), Linda Cardellini (Lylla), Asim Chaudhry (Teefs the Walrus), Mikaela Hoover (Floor the Rabbit) and Daniela Melchior (The Suicide Squad) and Nico Santos (Crazy Rich Asians).
