Techland have announced that fan-favourite community-led challenge, Hyper Mode, will be making a return to their extreme zombie hit, Dying Light. This challenge is available to play now and will run until 3:30pm BST on the 8th October.
In this latest Hyper Mode challenge players will be required to achieve a total zombie kill count of six million. That’s no small number, even for the thousands of gamers out there, fortunately to help achieve this target there will be a number of gameplay changes that will see players receive additional physical power to literally send the zombie masses flying. All players taking part in this event will be rewarded with two extra Gold-Tier Weapon Dockets.
“These community events are not only good excuses to bring together our loyal Dying Light community to reach a collective, challenging goal but also to reward them with unique items,” said CEO, Techland, Pawel Marchewka. “We can’t wait to kick off Hyper Mode again to see whether the kill count goal of six million can be achieved.”
Techland have also announced that PC gamers who are yet to buy the game can do so from Steam with a whopping 60% off.
The Hyper Mode strikes again! This week (October 3rd, 12 PM PDT – Oct 8th, 11:30 PM PDT), have fun with your greatly improved motor skills and sudden surges of strength. Slaughter as many zombies and bandits as you can and help the community reach the global goal of 6 000 000 kills.
