Infested Mines DLC arrives for Space Hulk: Deathwing – Enhanced Edition

August 18, 2018 by Andrew Newton

It’s time for those loyal to the Emperor and devoted to wiping out the abominations, the mutations and the xenos to get your stormbolters ready as Focus Home Interactive announce the Infested Mines DLC has arrived on Space Hulk: Deathwing – Enhanced Edition.  This new DLC is available for free on Steam with a 50% discount for the full game available until 19th August.

The new Infested Mines DLC introduces a new map, Infested Mines, to the game that can be playable in both Solo Special Missions and Multiplayer Co-op.  The Infested Mines is an underground map that is a lot more vertical than any other, this helps to give the new map a sense of claustrophobia.  The addition of this new map brings the total multiplayer map count of the game to eight and like the others, Infested Mines offers a massive amount of replayability.

Another new feature of this update is the ability to turn off the HUD, this can add to the difficulty and provide a more realistic feel to the fighting.  There’s also improvements to the balance of the game, improvements made to AI Terminator team-mates, single-player and multiplayer games plus a raft of bug fixes.

The Infested Mines DLC is available now for free on Steam.  Don’t forget that Space Hulk: Deathwing – Enhanced Edition is available now with 50% off.
