Last month when the first trailer for Deadpool 2 arrived online, we caught our first glimpse of what has now been confirmed as X-Force, with Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool) and Zazie Beetz (Domino) joined by three mystery mutants.
We’ve since learned that Terry Crews (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) is playing Bedlam, with Bill Skarsgard (It) as an as-yet-unrevealed character, and now Iron Fist and Into the Badlands actor Lewis Tan has confirmed via Instagram that he’s also part of the team (second from right on the above image) and is portraying Shatterstar.

Created by Rob Liefeld and Fabian Nicieza, Shatterstar made his first appearance in The New Mutants #99 in 1991 and has since went on to featuring mainly in Marvel’s X-Force title. Shatterstar is a genetically engineered time traveller from the planet Mojoworld who is sent back in time to Earth to get the X-Men’s help in defeating the tyrant Mojo. Instead, he meets Cable, Domino and the New Mutants, who promise to assist him, and he goes on to become a founding member of the X-Force team.
