Following on from recent rumours, Superman actor Henry Cavill looks to be teasing the appearance of Green Lantern in the DC Extended Universe.
DC might be struggling with directors, actors, scripts, and the general assembly of motion pictures these days, but they and their stars are darn good at promoting and teasing future appearances of fan favourite characters.
Right now it seems like it is the turn of Henry Cavill, The Man of Steel himself, as the Batman v Superman actor has taken to his Instagram page to “look for Hal” aka the Green Lantern.
While filming for a non Justice League related project in Canada, Cavill posted the following photo of his dog Kal.

Not stopping there, the actor even found a Hal Jordan/Green Lantern bust in a shop window and took the opportunity to tease his fans once more.

Obviously Henry knows more than us – being that he’s in Justice League and is surely privy to general DC related conversations. This could all just be fun and games from Cavill of course, and is a far cry from official confirmation, but Green Lantern is obviously on his mind, so that in itself could be very telling.
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Justice League will reunite Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jason Mamoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta alongside J.K. Simmons (Whiplash) as Commissioner Gordon, Amber Heard (The Danish Girl) as Mera, Willem Dafoe (Spider-Man) as Vulko, Kiersey Clemons (Dope) as Iris West, Ciaran Hinds (Game of Thrones) as Steppenwolf and Julian Lewis Jones (Stella) in an as-yet-unrevealed role. It is set for release on November 17th 2017.
