With J.J. Abrams hard at work on Star Wars: Episode IX ahead of a summer shoot, Omega Underground is reporting that the filmmaker has enlisted Paul Inglis as supervising art director for the third and final chapter of Disney’s Star Wars sequel trilogy.
Inglis recently worked on Blade Runner 2049, while his impressive C.V. also includes the likes of Skyfall, Prometheus, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, and HBO’s Game of Thrones.
Abrams – who replaced Colin Trevorrow as director on Episode IX – is currently writing the script with Chris Terrio (Justice League), with filming slated to begin in June. Any and all details are shrouded in secrecy, but we can safely assume it will see the return of the likes of Daisy Ridley (Rey), Adam Driver (Kylo Ren), John Boyega (Finn), Oscar Isaac (Poe), Kelly Marie Tran (Rose) and Domhnall Gleeson (General Hux).
