Back in July it was announced that Chadwick Boseman will be headlining the action thriller 17 Bridges and now we have word of more additions to the cast with Variety reporting that J.K. Simmons (Justice League), Sienna Miller (Live By Night) and Taylor Kitsch (Waco) have joined the film.
According to the site, the film will see Boseman as a disgraced NYPD detective “who, after being thrust into a citywide manhunt for a cop killer, is given a shot at redemption. As the night unfolds, lines become blurred on who he is pursuing, and who is in pursuit of him. When the search intensifies, extreme measures are taken to prevent the killers from escaping Manhattan as the authorities close all 17 bridges to prevent any entry or exit from the iconic island.”
Brian Kirk (Game of Thrones) is set to direct the film from a script by Adam Mervis (The Philly Kid), while Boseman will produce alongside his Avengers: Infinity War directors Joe and Anthony Russo.
