According to a report from TMZ, Room and The Predator star Jacob Tremblay has become the latest addition to the cast of The Shining sequel Doctor Sleep, signing on for an unspecified role.
The Stephen King adaptation is being directed by Mike Flanagan (Gerald’s Game, The Haunting of Hill House), and sees Ewan McGregor taking on the role of the now-adult Danny Torrance, who finds himself pitted against the True Knot, a psychic cult which feeds on the “steam” created by children possessing the shining.

Doctor Sleep is set for release on January 24th 2020, and features a cast that includes Ewan McGregor (Christopher Robin), Rebecca Ferguson (Mission: Impossible – Fallout), Alex Essoe (Starry Eyes), Carl Lumbly (Supergirl), Zahn McClarnon (Westworld), Bruce Greenwood (Gerald’s Game), Emily Alyn Lind (Revenge) and Kyleigh Curran (I Can I Will I Did).
