James Gunn knows fans want the trailer for The Suicide Squad but he has urged them to be patient while he continues to work on the film.
One of the most anticipated superhero films of the near future is certainly James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad. We have seen some promotional material for the movie which has got fans excited but so far, there hasn’t been sign of a trailer.
So, when can we expect it? Well, this is exactly the question a fan asked Gunn on Twitter. The director responded with pleas of patience: “I know, I know. You want the trailer. Or the teaser. Or more news. Or who the baddie is (they ALL are the baddies but also…) Anyway this will all be with you in due time, I’m working on cool stuff for you, but please be patient!”

With The Suicide Squad debuting in August of this year, one expects that a trailer can’t be that far away. However, with everything happening in the world at the moment, the fact that the film is even still due out this year is reason to be thankful.
The Suicide Squad sees James Gunn directing a cast that includes Suicide Squad returnees Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flag) and Viola Davis (Amanda Waller) as well as new DCEU additions Idris Elba, Peter Capaldi, Alice Braga, Nathan Fillion, Taika Waititi, Jennifer Holland, David Dastmalchian, Joaquín Cosío, Mayling Ng, Flula Borg, Juan Diego Botto, Storm Reid, John Cena, Pete Davidson, Tinashe Kajese, Daniela Melchior, Julio Ruiz, Steve Agee, Michael Rooker, Sean Gunn, and Sylvester Stallone.
