Jamie Foxx in negotiations to join Edgar Wright’s Baby Driver

September 9, 2015 by Scott J. Davis

Deadline is exclusively reporting that Jamie Foxx (Django Unchained) is in talks to join the cast of Edgar Wright’s new film Baby Driver. Foxx is set to play a crime boss, who “coerces a young, talented getaway driver to work for him”.

Ansel Elgort (The Fault In Our Stars) and Lily James (Cinderella) have already signed up for the film, with Elgort playing the driver in question, “who relies on the beat of his personal soundtrack to be the best. He must face the music when a doomed heist threatens his life, love and freedom.”

Baby Driver is set for release on March 17th, 2017.
