The sequel to the 2019 hit film Knives Out has begun casting, and some major stars are coming on board the latest mystery. In recent days, Edward Norton and Dave Bautista have joined Knives Out 2, and The Hollywood Reporter now notes that Janelle Monáe is joining the party.
There are very few details about Knives Out 2 at the time of reporting, but Daniel Craig’s southern detective Benoit Blanc is returning, while Johnson will also be back in the director’s chair. The movie will start shooting this summer in Greece.
Janelle Monáe, the singer and actor, has found success on the big screen in several projects. Monáe starred in two Academy Award-nominated films in Hidden Figures and Moonlight, the latter of which went on to win Best Picture. She also starred in 2020’s polarizing horror film, Antebellum.
