Deadline is reporting that Jason Momoa has signed on to headline the action revenge film Sweet Girl for Netflix, marking the Aquaman star’s second collaboration with the streaming service after the period drama series Frontier.
Sweet Girl is being directed by first-time filmmaker Brian Andrew Mendoza and follows “a devastated husband who vows to bring justice to the people responsible for his wife’s death while protecting the only family he has left, his daughter.”
