At a speed befitting of the spikey blue hedgehog himself, director Jeff Fowler has confirmed that Sonic the Hedgehog 2 has wrapped filming in Vancouver.
It only feels like five minutes ago that Sonic the Hedgehog was collecting all of the gold rings as one of the last pre-pandemic blockbusters, making $319M globally just as the world began to shutdown.

Fowler is back in the directors chair again having made his debut on the well-received original, with Ben Schwartz returning to voice Sonic, alongside James Marsden’s Sheriff Tom, and Tika Sumpter as his wife Maddie.
