Jenna Coleman stars in trailer for BBC detective series The Jetty

July 3, 2024 by Amie Cranswick

The BBC has released a trailer for the crime thriller series The Jetty which stars Jenna Coleman as a detective investigating a fire on a property in her scenic home town in Lancashire, and how it somehow links to a podcast journalist diving into a cold case and an illicit relationship between a man and two underage girls. Watch the trailer below…

Joining Coleman in the cast are Tom Glynn-Carney, Ruby Stokes, Archie Renaux, Laura Marcus, Bo Bragason, Weruche Opia, Amelia Bullmore, Matthew McNulty, Ralph Ineson, David Ajala, Nina Barker-Francis, Miya Ocego, Elliot Cowan, Shannon Watson, Arthur Hughes, Dominic Coleman, and Ruaridh Mollica.

When a fire tears through a property in a scenic Lancashire lake town, Detective Ember Manning (Jenna Coleman) must work out how it connects to a podcast journalist investigating a missing persons cold case and an illicit ‘love’ triangle between a man in his twenties and two underage girls.

But as Ember gets close to the truth, it threatens to destroy her life – forcing her to re-evaluate everything she thought she knew about her past, present and the town she’s always called home.

The Jetty premieres on BBC on July 15th.
