Klara and the Sun is based on Kazuo Ishiguro’s New York Times bestselling novel which is set in a dystopian future where parents who can afford it often buy their children androids as companions to prevent them from becoming lonely. One such family purchase the titular Klara, who sets about trying to save them from a life of heartbreak.
