Asked about the film whilst promoting her final Hunger Games outing, Lawrence elaborated on her role in the Schumer project, stating that she plays the troubled sister of Schumer’s more well-adjusted character.
“Amy, in this movie, she has it very together,” said Lawrence.
“It’s her lifelong dream to be a flight attendant. She works at the airport and I’m a mess.”
Lawrence also confirmed that the film won’t be pulling any punches, saying “there’s not really boys in it” and discussing the rather blunt comedic tastes of her and Schumer.
She said: “We both have very similar senses of humor, obviously and aren’t afraid, which is a good and bad thing, because I don’t know what our movie will be rated.”
More information about the Lawrence-Schumer project will likely emerge as Lawrence embarks on a major worldwide press tour for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, which arrives in UK cinemas on November 19th.
