Jeremy Renner looks forward to putting the near-fatal snow plow accident back in January 2023 behind him. His future seems bright with a Marvel Studios appearance as Hawkeye in the works as he confirms to ET Online this week that he wants to be a superhero again after his heroic moment.
Renner is spilling his feelings as he begins production again on the new season of Mayor of Kingstown. The actor tells the outlet that he’s doing “probably 90% of all the things I needed to be doing” and thinks that in another six months he’ll hopefully be running more. But he says the situation will stay with him, “The rest of my life is about health and wellness. Recovery will be part of the rest of my life, so I look forward to it, man.”
With that, he’s now looking forward to Hawkeye’s return: “I’m always game. I’m gonna be strong enough, that’s for sure. I’ll be ready. All those guys come to my bedside, and they’ve been with me all along through this recovery, so… if they want me, they could have me. It would be something.”
