TV Line is reporting that The Flash star Jessica Camacho has signed on to the cast of NBC’s Taken for its upcoming second season. She is set to play a character called Santana, described as “a scary-smart, rule-breaking former Army captain who possesses an acerbic wit and calculated bravado. Her forte is logistics.”
Taken is being revamped for its second season under new showrunner Greg Plageman, with season one series regulars Gaius Charles (John), Brooklyn Sudano (Asha), Monique Gabriela Curnen (Vlasik), Michael Irby (Scott), Jose Pablo Cantillo (Dave) and James Landry Hébert (Rem) all exiting the show and only Clive Standen (Bryan Mills) and Jennifer Beals (Christina Hart) returning.
The small screen adaptation of the hit Liam Neeson action franchise is set to return to NBC in midseason, with season two running for sixteen episodes.
