One of the stars of Iron Fist, Jessica Henwick, has begun her training for the show’s second season.
Iron Fist might not be red-hot prospect Netflix had hoped it would be, but the show is still a key part of their original programming plans and is of course heavily tied in with their other Marvel television properties.
One of the more popular aspects of Iron Fist so far is Colleen, a character played by Jessica Henwick, and a quasi-sidekick for the show’s titular character.
Henwick has a very action heavy role in the series and is thusly required to be in tremendous shape for filming the show’s myriad fight sequences.

Henwick has recently taken to Instagram to let the world know that she has now begun the process of training for the show’s second season, posting the following text along with a video of her throwing a series of kicks:
“Month 1 of getting back into shape for Iron Fist. The internal monologue: -Ouch. -This would be much easier if I’d just kept up training after S1. -WHY DIDN’T I KEEP TRAINING. -Eff this I’m calling my agent. -You know what… I enjoy feeling stronger… -But I’ve got a long way to go.”
