The film festival darling C’mon C’mon has its first trailer, and based on this first impression we could see Joaquin Phoenix heading to another Oscar win.
In the upcoming A24 film trailer, director Mike Mills brings his signature style to another harrowing story. The 20th Century Women and Beginners director is known for emotional movies, each of them pulling the heartstrings of their viewers. C’mon C’mon looks like no exception to that as we see Phoenix delivering some of his best work yet.
The film follows Johnny (Phoenix), who forms a tenuous but transformational relationship with his young nephew (Woody Norman) when they are unexpectedly thrown together.
